We have a great schedule planned for our members that will help provide them the tools they need to be successful in the application of technology to the business of Probation. The Department of Justice has offered to send Michelle Mitchell and Rich Mason to present on section 5 of the FBI’s CJIS security policy. This specific section covers best practices and guidelines in the handling of sensitive CJI data in the law enforcement world.
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation will be demonstrating their new mobile application, VIMO, a cutting edge platform that provides their parole officers easy access to managing their caseloads out in the field.
Both presentations will be video streamed from Sacramento to Fresno so that all of our participants can benefit.
Please join us on October 12th as we discuss technology needs as they relate to the business of Probation!
